The family of two Australian men who went missing after a boat capsized in rough waters off Japan have issued a plea to resume the search. William Mainprize and Luka Orda remained unaccounted for after Japanese authorities decided to downgrade their recovery operation. In a statement, Mr Mainprize’s family thanked the Japanese coastguard, the Australian maritime safety authority and the federal government for their efforts, but said they regretted the decision to scale back the search.
